A new country park and nature reserve on the historic Panshanger Estate between Hertford and Welwyn Garden City. Currently 250 acres of the park are open to the public. This includes open access fields and marked trails through historic woodland and alongside the beautiful River Mimram. Dogs are welcome, but owners are respectfully asked to please help protect the natural wildlife and grazing livestock by keeping all dogs on a lead in the nature reserve and in the fields with grazing sheep. When the sheep are not in the fields, dogs are able to run free. Free car parking and a dog waste bin are available at the Thieves Lane car park on the Hertford side of the park.

Lovely place, especially by the river which has shallow entrances perfect for my older boy as he could have a paddle. First visit today will definitely go back.
