DescriptionHartlebury Common is known for its sandy terrain-great for dogs who like to dig! The side of the common that is sandy sits on the A4025 Worcester to Stourport Road and there are three small parking areas-be warned though they are very close to the busy road and the one that is most set back from the road is incredibly rough and potholed. Each car park is gated though so once you get through the gate you are fine to let your dog off lead. The better car park is on the other, higher side of the common on the Hartlebury Road. The terrain is less sandy on this side though so can be muddy. There are often cattle grazing up here but that isn't usually a problem. There is no cafe but there are plenty of pubs and cafes in and around Stourport if you are in need of refreshments after your walk!
