This walk starts in Sleaford town centre. It can be a nice short walk or extended. The short walk is around Lollycocks field. A 4. 5 acre nature reserve with hard paths, pond and grassy meadow area. You can extend this walk by following the canal path towards Cogglesford Mill. Here you can cross the bridge and walk back to the town on the other side of the river Slea. Or head left as part of the Spires and Steeples trail out towards the countryside. On the canal path back to town, we found another trail called The Nettles, although it looked nettle free thankfully. If you like exploring, there are multiple routes plus the town centre waterways are quite charming as is the town. There are benches, cafes on route plus dog friendly pubs. Park in the town or there is a car park at Cogglesford Mill.

Location details
On the outskirts of town. Not really advertised well. Look for what looks like a bridge and grassy meadow. There is a path leading down and you will see an info board.
