DescriptionThis walk is located off Deerleap lane, and is almost exactly opposite the New Forest Wildlife park. There is a narrow drive down to the car park. The carpark splits in two, left and straight ahead. We normally take the path leading straight on as you come in, and head down towards the water and railway bridge. There are cows and horses about, and you do get a lot of horse riders visiting this area. There are bins at the car park for waste. Most people tend to do a "there and back" walk here, but you can incorporate a loop if you follow the path on the left from the car park. There is a small bridge further down into the walk, with a big stream that the dogs love to play in. You can also venture off through the forest to the right, but be prepared to get muddy! All in all, a very nice walk, but can get very busy on weekends/holidays.
