This walk is part of the Letchworth Greenway, which is over 13 miles of managed country walks in and around the First Garden City.

From the A1 southbound, take the exit at junction 10 and head towards Shefford on the A507. At the first roundabout, take the first left towards Norton. After a couple of miles, turn left into Norton Bury Lane, left again. Beware, there is a tight left bend which is just before the car park. There are parking restrictions for different times of the year so check the official website for details.

Walk over the small bridge on the path, you'll need to keep you dog on the lead for this part as the picnic and playground areas are close by. Follow the path and you'll soon be in an area where your pooch can run free. There are often longhorn cattle in the adjacent field so be careful.

I often leave the path where it kinks and walk around the field on the right. If you prefer a wooded walk, stick to the path and just before you reach the road there's a wood you can walk around. The road at the end of this section is quite busy so dogs on leads before you get there.

The Greenway is used by a lot of cyclists so keep this in mind, we don't want any run over paws!

Please try to find our Ernie. Ernie is a lovely dog, male terrier cross brown, beloved by his family. He went missing whilst being walked on Radwell some days ago. Please follow link to see Ernie... George Morphew on Facebook. If someone has Ernie, PLEASE return him.
