Daventry Country Park is a lovely walk that's accessible for all. There's a large lake in the middle so bring a towel if your dog likes water! The water looks clean though so it's not too bad, although there are a few boggy parts around the circuit. A flat path runs around the perimeter of the reservoir in the middle and there are no lumps and bumps so it's suitable for buggies and wheelchairs. The scenery is lovely passing through meadows, woodland and past the reservoir. There are also wheelchair accessible bird hides to stop and view the wildlife. It's great for children as you can feed the ducks, stop for a bite to eat at the cafe, have a picnic or play in the adventure playground (just note that dogs aren't allowed in this gated area). There's also visitors centre to peruse. It does cost £2 to park however there is ample parking and it's open 365 days a year with facilities open daily (apart from Christmas Day and News Year Day) from 9am - 5pm summertime and 8.30am - 4.30pm wintertime. Events are run here from time to time including an outdoor cinema in the summer.

Well behaved dogs can be off lead for the whole walk but I would note that there's one part of the walk that passes close to a busy road so if your dog has a tendency to run, put them on lead here. There can also be sheep in the surrounding fields so take care around those too.
