Another one of my favourite trossachs walks.
The David Marshall Centre is located just outside Aberfoyle (go through the town and follow the main road to the right as it goes up the hill. You'll see signs from there). The car parking is buttons, and there's a good quality cafe in the visitors centre, which has a high deck and views to die for out across the trossachs. The centre has just been refurbished and is wheelchair friendly, but the walk itself is not i'm afraid.
There are various trails out of the car park, but once again, they all form circuits and are generally well marked with colour coded bollards periodically. The visitors centre can give you a map of the trails. As you proceed down the hill, look out above because Go Ape has a centre here, and it hosts one of their biggest zip lines, so you may well see flying people zooming over your head (miles over in fact!). A wee bit further on and you're walking through gorgeous forest trails, with points of interest placed along the way for you to find, while your pets roam free and off lead pretty much the whole time. Walks range from a couple of miles to about 8 miles, but you can extend this by joining trails together. There are also picnic areas in picturesque spots lots of nice views across the forest area.
It'd be pretty hard to get tired of this walk. I've been doing it about once a month for the last 3 years, and it's still a firm favourite on a nice summers day. Hope you get the chance to enjoy it too!
