Heading from Stratford upon Avon to Alcester turn right to Oversley Green and wood is signposted about 1/3 mile to the left. Its Forestry Comission maintained and a haven for wildlife- and dogs! Love it at all times of year- Spring with the bluebells and winter with snow, especially. Lots of different routes and terrains. Takes about 1.5 hours if you do the outer circuit. Its never that busy but you may see the odd dog, walker, jogger or cyclist.

My friends & our dogs do this walk regularly its brilliant. The dogs love it and even on wet muddy days you can still to the main drag and stay pretty clean, or you can explore the woods & hill, lots of scope for a different walk every day.

Went for our first dog walk here last week and it was lovely. Took it at an easy pace and it took about an hour and a half to get round the full circuit but the sun was shining, the birds were tweeting and it was beautiful to look around. Not v busy, just came upon a horse with rider, a runner and her dog and a couple of families. Would highly recommend.

Visited today, on what turned out to be a lovely sunny afternoon. Access is down a single track, and there is not much space for parking, but, it was fairly quiet, with only a few horses, and maybe a dozen other walkers around. To walk the whole perimeter, if you stick to the main track is around and hour and a half to walk, but you can venture through the wooded areas should you wish to do so. Its nice that you can let the dogs off the lead, obviously just be sensible around horses, and please clean up after your dogs, as many have taken to leaving their dogs waste in a bag on the ground, maybe poop bins might be an idea? Anyway, a very pleasant afternoon, and a lovely walk, would definitely recommend

Lovely walk round the edge of the wood. We didn't have time for the tempting paths through the trees. We missed the sign first time round. It is a small sign on the right hand side of the road (coming from the main road), pointing to the left.
