About this walk

This walk is not one I knew about locally until recently. It is part of the Maxey Fisheries so there might be some restrictions although I stuck to the path. I parked up in the village and walked in. It's not well advertised to be honest. But once found, there's a nice flat long wide path through the middle of the lakes. Quiet with a few local walkers. Dogs can come off leads and get down to the water as well. We only did a short walk but there looks to be a longer walk available and I've added the Web link to it. I wouldn't drive miles for this, but worth checking out if you are local and want a different walk. Nice nature based, quiet, peaceful walk. No parking, bins, food etc... Just rural paths and fishermen!

Location details

Look for the first steps nursery to find the entrance, there is an old barrier to stop cars. Looks like maybe there's nothing behind it but it's the right place. Not well sign posted.
