Stirling uni has changed it policy on dogs over the last year and they now let dogs on campus. There are far to many to mention lanes, paths and pavements that lead all over the campus. With shops and a starbucks on site this makes a great place to walk the dogs. Can be busy mid week but the weekends are nice and quiet. My dog goes round the loch off the lead but there are a lot of ducks, swans and squirrels so close control is a must.

Although the University does now allow dogs on campus they are meant to be kept ON LEAD, and there are signs stating this around the various entrances. -

Your the type of iresponsible person that the uni does Not want brining their dog on campus! Conditions of use of the camus are online, dogs must be kept on leads at all times! Their are also plenty signs telling you this, but you think it's fine for your dog to annoy other people and the wildlife! -

And you are clearly the type of person that shouldn’t be on a friendly dog walking site. Stick with Twitter if it’s a rant you wish to have. For anyone else reading the review there are only sections of the university ground where dogs need to be on leads. In the woodlands they do not, near the water wild life they do but that is what all conscious dog walkers would do. -

Great area to walk dogs but still too many allow their dogs to foul and walk off the lead. Ive added Uni rules below While dogs are permitted on the University Campus grounds, the following rules apply: Dogs must be kept on a leash and under control at all times while on Campus. The Campus is home to much wildlife (including nesting birds) and the University has a responsibility for the protection of this wildlife. Owners must not allow their dogs onto any of the University Sports Facilities, running tracks, football fields, golf course, etc. Owners are solely responsible for all clean-up. Faeces must be removed, and disposed of in sealed bags into the general waste bins provided around the campus. Faeces may not be left where deposited as they pose a hazard for gardens and grounds staff maintaining the estate and to other campus users who may walk through the campus or sit on the grass.
