Hartlebury Common is known for its sandy terrain-great for dogs who like to dig! The side of the common that is sandy sits on the A4025 Worcester to Stourport Road and there are three small parking areas-be warned though they are very close to the busy road and the one that is most set back from the road is incredibly rough and potholed. Each car park is gated though so once you get through the gate you are fine to let your dog off lead. The better car park is on the other, higher side of the common on the Hartlebury Road. The terrain is less sandy on this side though so can be muddy. There are often cattle grazing up here but that isn't usually a problem. There is no cafe but there are plenty of pubs and cafes in and around Stourport if you are in need of refreshments after your walk!

Great place for a dog walk! Lovely views, plenty of space, different routes to take. -

Plenty of space and interesting things for dogs to investigate. Some very steep parts and sand can make it tricky/tiring to walk, not suited to those with any sort of mobility issues (human or canine). It does get busy though at peak times, so parking can be a bit tricky and the poo bins are a bit few and far between and don't seem to be emptied as often as they should be (often overflowing, unfortunately). -

Spaniel safe, we walked our 3 and had our friends with us with their 2 and it was really safe and loads of routes to take.
