A walk which follows the valley down from the end of Tredegar towards Blackwood. It runs parallel to the river Sirhowy and you can walk along the banks. if you cross the bridge you can walk up the hill past the abandoned former pub/farmhouse into the 13 houses that remain of the village Troed. The river is home to ducks and a pair of herons. This is farmland so sheep, horses and occasionally cows graze here! If you do the circular walk it’s just over 2 miles
