Garwnant has over 400 acres of pristine forest, hills and waterfalls to explore. There are numerous paths to follow or you can go off route.
The forest is beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. The visitor centre and Restaurant are open all year round. There is car park, with a beautiful cafe nearby with outside seating, water for dogs and stunning views of Llwyn-On Reservoir.
The cafe serves local and regional cuisine as well as coffee, tea and refreshments. The visitor centre also provides useful information about the surrounding area and routes.

10 years agoI am off to West Wales on the 6th April for a weeks holiday with my family and four lurchers. If we have time might try this walk.
Anyone know if there's a dog friendly camp site near here?
10 years agoHi Fiona, try: Link → I haven't stayed there myself but the website states that it is dog friendly and its less than 2 miles from Garwnant
That looks brilliant, thank you so much ACollins :-)
