About this walk

Avenue 2 Station Lane. Drive straight to the end, walk under the bridge and you are there. A great circular walk around the lake. Dogs are able to run off lead and socialise if they are friendly and you are sure they wont jump in the water.

I love to take Bowie here.

It’s a good short circular walk but it’s very busy (probably lockdown related) and not very tranquil because of the A40. We drove here specially for the walk and I don’t think we’d do it again, but if we lived closer perhaps we would.

Lovely walk. Very shaded. Areas to let your dog in if you wish but be mindful of others and birds nesting. Perfect for dogs that can remain under control or on a lead.

Lovely walk but access through industrial estate parking and under bridge would feel intimidating for Dawn/dusk walks as a lone female.

Walked on a rainy afternoon but paths are well maintained. I would imagine at the start of spring and summer it is a lovely place to saunter around. Lots of birds and a wide variety

Great place to go for a dog walk but please remember it's a fishing lake and dogs should be under control around the anglers as they pay to be there! Please be respectful and pick up your poo! LOTS DONT!
