Take a little exercise and enjoy the fresh air on this 1.5 mile (2.4km) route alongside the stream, or if you’re both feeling energetic, add 0.5 mile (0.8km) more and climb uphill for fantastic panoramic views.

a great place to walk the dog there is a stream that runs through Barlaston downs with some places for dogs to paddle there could be animals grazing

Lovey place .Always go here you can let your dog off the lead and there is a stream you can Link → spend a couple of hours here.

Great hilly walk! lovely views. Great stream partway around for dogs to play in and also combined with the ice cream van across the road :) Wouldn't recommend it if your dog isn't good around cows and animals. Luckily when we went the cows were in a section we could go around but I believe they can go wherever so it's pot luck on the day as to where they are. :)
