Great hilly walk! lovely views. Great stream partway around for dogs to play in and also combined with the ice cream van across the road :) Wouldn't recommend it if your dog isn't good around cows and animals. Luckily when we went the cows were in a section we could go around but I believe they can go wherever so it's pot luck on the day as to where they are. :) -

Easily our favourite local walk. The stream is a spaniel's dream, and there's plenty of mud and woodland areas for dogs to explore on or off lead. The path is clearly marked out with regular benches to sit and rest or just take in the gorgeous surroundings. Parking is easy with two sites to choose from, and the little coffee hut (open on weekends) is a delightful way to round off a walk. The main route takes about an hour if you walk briskly, but we easily stretch it out to 3 hours with the detours and breaks.
