Beautiful lake with gardens, cafes, shopping village (and faries!) If you've never been to Trentham gardens then you are missing out, this really is a must see place! (And it's very doggie friendly) The lake takes about 2 hours to walk around at a very steady pace, (we were here for 5 hours in total), and there is so much to see no matter which path you take. Wood carvings, wildlife and of course the fairy sculptures! There are herons, otters, kingfishers, dragonflies, butterflies and so much more to try and spot. I would definitely recommend taking your time and spending the entire day there, and pack a picnic!! I would also add, I took my mom on this walk who is disabled, the path around is flat gravel with one very small hill at the end of the lake, so it's great if you are taking a wheelchair or pushchairs.

Great walk but expensive to get in and parking can be a nightmare at weekends.
