About this walk
This is my usual stomping ground for our 18 month old lunatic. Park up in the layby just before you get into Pevensey coming from eastbourne or on the other side of the road. The path is safe for off lead as its fenced one side and thick bracken and a stream on the other side. Although the path runs alongside another field which sometimes has sheep in which can be accessed but I never had any issues you can see them when you park up. Walk to the end and cross the river and follow it for about a mile into a large field, note that sometimes there are cows in the large field but found this was in summer, the field is fenced off so fine to let them run around. You can walk to the far end of the field towards the left where you can cross the train track and go into the field next to Pevensey castle which normally has dogs playing in here and can get very wet so wellies are defiantly worth putting on if we've had any wet weather.
