This vast, open grass area is open to the walking public, presumably when it's not race day.
This is a very flat, open area that allows you to walk the whole length of the race course, both round the track or through the middle.
There are plenty of dog walkers and joggers and it's fine to let you dog off the lead as long as they are controlled.
Free parking is along Knavesmire Road.

Circular route, there are woods. Heavy rainfall area floods. Nice flat stroll. -

Really dog friendly, able to let dogs off lead and play with other dogs! Great for socialising them!
