Great big hills leading into a valley with beautifully view over Hitchin and surrounding villages.
Park at the pub or the layby between the pub and the farm.
Keep dogs on lead until you can be sure the livestock are in another field.
Cons : grazing sheep/ known criminal activity area/not many dog bins
Pros: many different fields to avoid livestock/ lovely pub/ good exercise/ fresh airAn update from the Bedfordshire Reserves Manager for the Wildlife Trust: This area includes a nature reserve and dog walkers are kindly reminded to keep dogs under close control at all times, i.e on lead. The site is Open Access Land and as such dogs must be kept on a lead no longer than 2m between 1st March and 31st July. Dog owners are also politely asked to take their dog waste home with them.
