Therfield heath next to Royston is doggie heaven. Hundreds of dogs are walked here every day across the heath and golf course all on public land. Easy to walk for miles along the many paths. You can enjoy a pint at the Heath Sports cafe

Unfortunately a lot of the Heath is inaccessible for ambulant disabled as the terrain is so rutted on the paths. There are some smooth areas but there are long slow inclines. The cafe is completely accessible and very good and dog friendly. -

Great! there is a golf course on route but not yet been hit by a ball 😅 and an old roman road, woodland area and hills great view❤️🙌 -

This is a great walk if you’re looking for somewhere to keep paws clean in winter months. Beautiful views for you, plenty of off lead walking for your dog! There is a golf course within the grounds of this walk which can make it tricky if you’re dog is curious but otherwise, perfect! -
