A short (<1 mile) circular walk around a large lake at a former sand quarry now a nature reserve with plenty of water play opportunities in fairly clean water (due to sand base it can be a bit mucky!) 💦
Mixture of shade and open areas with convenient benches dotted around and one meadow/field area for a run around.
Generally a hard path (see link for more details) and one gentle slope to negotiate. Links to Grand Union Canal for a longer walk (i.e. into Leighton Buzzard for shops).
Free car park with height restriction but you can also park on the road outside if you have a large vehicle.

Lovely place to walk around and my dog absolutely loved the water!!! -

I’ve stopped going here despite it being very dog friendly. The amount of litters unbelievable... broken bottles and loads of takeaway stuff everywhere and the amount of dog poop everywhere is disgusting. It’s such a shame and shame on the people that leave all this stuff. -
