About this walk

There are various walks available from walks on pathed areas to going off the main track into the woods requiring your wellies! Maps of the different walks are available at the cafe. Parking is paid at the main car park by the cafe and children's play area or you can park for free at the horse box parking if there is room. The children's play area is very good for little ones and there is also a tree top walk. The dogs can go off lead all the way round.

Salcey forest is one of our favourites, the cafe has doggy ice cream and biscuits if you fancy treating your pup. Lovely place for a family walk and picnic.

Fantastic if you want to do more than just a dog walk. Varied routes. Off lead walks but it’s normally busy and lots of younger children around so you’ll need a well behaved dog. Plenty of parking. Great facilities. Including cafe and toilets.

Lovely woodland walk, choice of routes with easy access. Plenty of parking and daughter loved the icecream.

Lovely place with lots of different length walks. We are members so don’t pay parking and go often. Great cafe. Some walks very busy but longer ones with less people. Dog off lead except near cafe and car parks.
