A lovely walk which starts at a free public car park. Head for the bridge which leads to a path along a stream, and then to open countryside.

Great place to take your dog, easy access from car park and our dog loved the river! -

Nice walk, car park is big, there’s a big field for running around in before you get to the bridge. The footpath is suitable for cycles, buggies etc. The river is quite deep and was fast flowing when we were there, but there is a bit with a beach down a dog-accessible slope that our boy enjoyed. The path was quite busy though with walkers, joggers and cyclists so it was a bit too busy to let him off the lead, especially once he’d been in the river!
