This is an easy walk if you stay on the main paths, or a slightly more rugged one if you walk through the fields. From late spring / early summer onwards the fields will have cattle and sheep out to pasture, so dogs must be kept on leash. The walk thru fields runs alongside the River Purwell, and is really lovely on those sunny spring mornings. There is very limited car parking just beyond the entrance to Snailswell Lane (note: not on the Lane itself).

This walk has been marked as a nature reserve. Dogs are usually welcome however restrictions may apply.
Each nature reserve has its own rules regarding dog walking, and some may not allow dogs. Kindly keep an eye out for the relevant signs within the reserve or visit the reserve's website before your visit for more information.
In most nature reserves, it's kindly requested to keep dogs on a lead at all times. Allowing dogs to roam off-lead can create issues or cause distress to livestock and wildlife.
If you see other visitors, please put your dog on lead whilst you are walking near them. Nature reserves are for the benefit of wildlife and frequently host educational visits.
Some nature reserves have dog poo bins, but if you can’t find one please take the waste home with you.

It's a good quiet walk. Not very much parking though. The meadows have sheep/cows in summer months, dogs must be on leash there.
