About this walk

Large area to walk on with many different paths and watering holes around. There are horses and cattle running free and its usually fairly popular with cyclist as well as children and all types of dog owners!

Mostly open therefore can get windy! But there are a few forest types sections which are very hilly and steep - if you want to venture further - you can easily do an 8 mile walk if you do the whole thing or cut across and do short walks. Very easy to walk around - cannot get lost as one big circle!

Some areas fenced off for bird nesting but easy to avoid those areas and keep dogs off lead.

Super walk with my dog today! She absolutely loved going somewhere new, lots of dogs and very friendly people. Common sense when cows are around, she was popped on the lead when we approached the cows and in the areas that were marked out of bounds! She still had lots of fun though

I've walked here loads (with and without dogs as I lived very close) and it has a bit of everything! Little woody areas near crookam common are more secluded and where I prefer off lead walking, and there are the open places where there can be runners so i keep my two on leads (sighthounds LOVE chasing runners!)

Great walk dogs loved it very safe and lots of things to sniff out! Wrap up warm at the wind blows right across you!
