Great peaceful walk through the dunes, its best to stick to the trails otherwise you'll end up wearing yourself out climbing all over the dunes (it can also damage the dunes by climbing on them). The beach is beautiful with plenty of free space, be aware that occasionally there will be horse riders on the beach and through the dunes as there are bridal ways. The car park now has parking machines, and they don't always work. Café has not been open any of the times I have been.
