About this walk

Lovely riverside area, with a few different options of different length walks (from around 15 mins to 45mins)

Most of the walk is a flat path alongside the river with trees on the other side making it a secure area for dogs to be off lead. A small area of the walk is along a quiet road but it soon rejoins the riverside path. There is an optional walk up a very steep hill to the site of an old fort but dogs muist be kept on leads through the field leading to it.

Can be busy in the summer with picnic-ers and children playing in the river.

Dear All, I would like to do this walk but I am terrible with directions! Can anyone tell me if this walk is signposted at all as I will not know where to go when I get out of the car lol! Many thanks Nikki and Luna

We had to ask where it was but there is a lane immediately after the bridge (Liskeard side) and 100 yards further up is the free car park. A lovely walk along the flat with a number of places by the river for the dog to go in.

We loved this! Lovely river walk with beautiful woods alongside. The dogs loved paddling and swimming and meeting lots of other friendly dogs. All the dog walkers seemed especially lovely on this walk and we enjoyed meeting regulars!
