Lovely flat walk alongside the river leven, you begin in low wood village, parking is limited but free. Park in a local lay-by in the village and walk down to low wood road towards the B5278, where there will be a small bridge and on your left there will be a small tarmac road, keeping the river on your right, then there will be a small gate to you right leading into a field. This field has a public footpath which normally has livestock in so please be aware dog will need to be on a lead till you are through the field safely. Then continue to follow the track alongside the river through three more kissing gates till you reach another tarmac road, which is a cycle path. Follow this long side the river till you reach a slightly wooded area the road should split once you reach Roudsea Tarn, if you continue using the left path this leads in a small loop away from the river to the Lady Skye, and back to the edge of the river. Then once back at the entrance to Roudsea Tarn continue the way back you came previously, along the tarmac path to the fields and low wood village. This route is about 60 mins.
