About this walk

Various length trails through the forest, with various car parks to park in depending on your starting point. We Parked in the bogle crag car park which is on the east side of the forest, this car park is a pay on exit car park with ANPR, the prices are reasonable and is simple to use. We began our walk passing a steel vehicle gate, which lead to the gravel path, which follows the main trail throughout the forest, it was a gentle steady climb for a while then the trail levelled when you come the fork in the path, you can turn either left or right and begin the trail. This main trail is large and took us a few hours to complete but we did stop a few times to take in the scenery and appreciate the area. There are also a number off waterfalls on route so please be careful as some are very deep and deceiving in size. You then follow the main trail gravel path in a large loop, to return to the car park, however there are a number of different colour trails that lead further into the forest should you wish to complete those.
