Beautiful National Trust site with many different walks available. Very steep and hilly to start with but worth the effort when you get to the top! Once at the top it's perfectly safe for off lead investigating and away from the road (mines a typical 100 mile per hour Springer Spaniel) Very friendly dog walkers and only ever had one nasty encounter with another dog.
