Can make this walk range from 5 - 6 miles
Quite challenging in parts but beautiful countryside views and scenery, also takes you through Castle Combe Village.
Occasionally there may be sheep and cows in the fields but generally there aren't too many animals so the walk can be off lead for a lot of the time.

Hi BasilPercy - The location seems to suggest starting off at the car park at SN14 7HH - then walk downhill to the village. -

Not for us at all. We went today but it was swarmed with hundreds of city types snapping selfies and milling around looking at the picturesque town. We parked at the post code in the comments but there didn't seem to be anywhere to go. We went to the town of Ford instead and walked to a church and across fields. This listed walk info isn't helpful. -

Stunning location with a coffee shop in the barn and a dog friendly pub. You can walk through the woods and along the river . With lots to see as you go. Very popular with tourists too. -

The actual walk along the bridal way and footpath takes you above and over the village and can be accessed by the side of the road on the left and you near the village down hill from the free park. There is a cute fairy house with door that opens carved into one of the fallen logs which is a treat for kids and dogs alike!
