Large open fields to stretch those four legs, direct access to the river for Doggy swimming, Lovely in the summer.
Cattle sometimes present so i am told.

Saw 1 other person the whole walk, great off lead, plenty of parking, quiet, beautiful! Dogs had lots of fields yo stiff and the 4.5 mile heritage walk would be great to complete but my (older dogs 15, 12 and 9) managed 3 huge fields before needing to go back.

Free parking by the library, Following the dog walk along the bottom (Signposted) crossing the road turning left under the bridge, take the second right hand footpath.
