NT carpark is a £4 charge - you must have the right amount, no change given -

Free parking if you have national trust membership. Walks are lovely. Fields are bumpy so would wear supportive shoes. Water in areas but safe for dogs and kids to swim. Takes around 1-2 hours to do the fields. There can be livestock there but if you keep an eye out, you'll be able to put dogs on lead before you get into the field that they are in

Lovely circular walk around the village. It’s farmland so often animals in the fields, and good footwear needed. Great views of the abbey! -

Lovely circular walk through the village and surrounding fields. Very picturesque and peaceful. A little rough at points but a mostly flat, even route. The river is great for dogs and kids alike to wade in wellies or paddle on hot days. Be mindful of the sheep in a couple fields. -
