Great country walk with pathed areas and a good wide track within lots of the walks. the common has a good choice of different walks for repeat visits and is quite flat although there are more wooded area's for exploring
Really lovely at all times of the year, picnic area and large car park
No refreshments but it is reasonably close to Newbury for lots of nice pubs or visit Saddleback park farm shop for some treats

Lovely place to take your dog whether on the lead or off it. Nice routes to follow. Some short or longer ones to do and the little cafe is a perfect way finish up the great forresty walk -

I love snellsmore and went a lot growing. Dogs have to be on lead in some areas at certain times of year as there are ground nesting birds so it's important to either go a different route (many coloured routes) or have dogs on lead. It's nice and flat but on sunday mornings (if I remember correctly) theres a family run so its busy then so best not to go for a nice dog walk at those times. -
