This walk is around 6.5 miles (2.5hrs approx). You can just stay in styal park or also add on the bolin trail.
Head down Lauren's path a bridleway in styal country park (national trust). You can take a quick detour on a path to the right if you want to do a bit of plane spotting an watch them take off from the airport.
If not carry on along the signed pathways. There are lots of stairs and bridges. Some bits are quite a climb and its a very woody walk along the river.
Around 4 miles round you come across a rugby club. If you follow this round you come out at altringham road. Cross this and go on to mobberly road. On the left you'll see a signed footpath to the bolin trail. This will take you through lovely open farmland and back to the holiday inn where the car is parked.

Fantaatic walk through the woods for just over an hour a couple of steep climbs lots of water if your dog likes that...nice and clean.. parked near the church And a short walk to the entrance could have spent alot longer there and will do next time .. Met some nice people and nice dogs..felt safe for my dog to run around off the lead.. recommended..
