About this walk

Walk down the path and turn left. You'll enter a large field. Head across the field towards the trees. Go through the trees and you'll come out at the river.

Turn right following the river. You will reach a bridge. to the right is a gate and a little wooden fence. Go through this to get to the waterpark. Turn left or right and walk round the pond. Once you are at the opposite end of where you started you will see another gate which leads back on to the river. Turn right and walk along the river.

Depending on how far you wish to go you can either turn back or keep going.

At some point soon this will become a circular walk again where you follow the river, reach Jackson's bridge, cross it and turn left to walk on the other side of the river. At the moment you can't left turn after the bridge due to tram works - should be done summer 2013 I think.. It leads back to the bridge by the waterpark to head back to the car.

This is a lovely walk, took my boys yesterday and met loads of dogs, all were pleasant and muddy!

I walk my dog here most days as its not too far from my house. Always others dogs off lead to play with and friendly people about to chat to. Quite a muddy footpath so remember to take your wellies.

Love this walk, as does my 4 legged friend! Something for everyone here - walk, swim, picnic areas. Highly recommended.
