Not the easiest walk to find, but worth hunting down. This walk is in an area of created woodland, planted by the Woodland Trust for the year 2000. Locate the small brick building which (I believe) contains some sort of water pumping equipment, and park on the grass verge. Just to the side of the pumping station, you'll see a small path with a dog pooh bin, and that's the entrance. There's an information board to tell you about the site if you want to read up on it.
Inside the site, there are mowed paths to follow around the meadow. The ground is wobbly in places, so take care. The trees are still in their infancy, but will grow up into a lovely wood in the future. At the moment, they're just the right height for a small dog to dart in and out of. You can choose from a selection of colour coded routes to follow. The perimeter of the site is not a lot more than 0.6miles, so if you fancy a slightly longer walk, switch the routes up a bit.
If you want an even longer route, the site links with several footpaths into the wider countryside, across fields and farmland.
Back in the site, there is a pond for water fanatics to jump into, plenty of benches for humans (and dogs) to have a sit down on, and peace and quiet for all. Only the one pooh bin by the entrance though, so be prepared to pick up your dog's poop and carry it back. Castle Camps is very rural, so there are no public toilets, no nearby refreshments, and no other facilities. What you get in return is an undiscovered piece of dog friendly countryside to enjoy.

The walk starts on Church Lane about 0.3 miles from Castle Camp Primary School car park. We enjoyed the walk and the dog found lots of places to sniff. -

Smallish, compact area that is great for letting your dog off the lead. Was VERY muddy over all parts due to recent amount of rain.
