There are loads of walks around Stanton, across fields, through the woods and across the moor to visit the nine ladies circle.
The pub is open for lunches between 12 mid-day and 2pm and is dog freindly so perfect for finishing up at or starting off from. They even have water bowls out at the door for dogs to get a drink and the locals are really freindly and inviting.
There is parking available at the pub if your a patron (customer) or on street parking throughout Stanton is also available.
Before walking across fields check for cattle first.
From Stanton you'll have amazing views of the Peak District which makes the walks up there so fabulous.
Wellies may be required as some of the walks can be a bit muddy depending on where you go.
The moor at the top of Stanton offers some fantastic routes to take in the fresh air and fabulous views, a dog walkers dream stroll.
