Several routes around the park which is mostly forest. Safe away from roads and lots of off lead. Some deer but usually well away from walking areas. The walk can be hilly or flat (depending on route) but there is little mud even after heavy rain, as the chalk hills drain well. Dog are allowed off lead but only on the side marked (east of the the A3). Entrances are from north bound and south bound. Located Near Butser Hill on the A3. South of Petersfield

For some reason the map marker has moved. There are no dogs allowed this side of the road (west) due to livestock. The walk is nearer the point marked "Winter Wonderland" on the eats side of the A3... not sure how to edit the marker ? -

Not sure what happened there, but have edited that for you now! We are working on allowing members to have the ability to edit their own walks, and we hope to roll that out in the not too distant future. -

I have to admit, I have never been through the forest side, we have always gone up the huge hill on the other side (where dogs are allowed but under close supervision if there are sheep present). You get some incredible views from the top. Will have to try the forest section now, thanks for the tips -

Favourite walk, we go right to the top of the forest to the Juniper car park. Here there is a refreshment kiosk, however I have never seen it open! There are toilets and a childrens adventure play area and a brand new giants chair!! (I wish there was an option to add more pictures to walk details) Lots of BBQ areas here so be careful if you have a naughty foody dog! It is nice and flat at the top here, great for pushchair! Car park is £1.50 for an hour I think or £3 for all day. Watch out for mountain bikes. -

Fab walk, easy to spend a good few hours here. Also, if you park up the top there is a dog agility section which is great fun!
