6.8 Miles around the shoreline of the army base with stunning views of Chichester Harbour. The route is rural with mostly off lead dog walking opportunities and plenty of deserted shoreline.
There are two points at which you need to go through an automatic security gate on the path. When Nelly walked the route in October 2017, the intercom was out of action and a phone number was posted on the gate to contact the "gatekeeper" to automatically unlock the gate. So, make sure you have a working mobile phone with you.

Very muddy most of the way round (January). Lovely sandy beach section about midway round. Plenty of Birdlip. Thanks for posting the walk.
