This is the 5 mile complete circuit of the Chidham peninsula. It is important to be aware of the tides as the south western corner of the route floods at spring high tides. There is a 3 mile version of this walk to the less fit. This walk is flat with a stretch along the stony foreshore. Paths are well marked. The route begins with a stretch across flat, Norfolk like fields to reach the western shore. It cuts a little inland (although we continued on the uneven shore at low tide) along a straight dyke.
