This 5.5 mile route takes you across the Somerley Estate Nature Reserve along a beautiful stretch of the River Avon, through woodland and back down the valley to to retrace the stretch along the river. There are opportunities to shorten or lengthen the route to suite your needs.
On the A338 take the turning over Ibsley Bridge (Grid ref SU 149 096) and park on the gravel lay-by just over the bridge.
