About this walk

Really nice walk for the dogs. There is a refreshment area / cafe for a cup of tea or a bacon sandwich on a Sunday morning. Currently they are building a purpose built cafe for this. Also there is a big wooden playground with climbing frames, slides, swings. Free parking. Really nice people walking there dog and everyone is really friendly.

There is now a parking charge of £2 per day. Lots of restoration and work done to the park. Still lots of good walking though

The car park is no longer free (its either £1.50or£2.00 for the day) , and the cafe is fully built and up and running as stated in the write up. It's a lovely dog walk with benches scattered about if you need/want a little rest. The visitors have always appeared friendly.

Great Park with a cafe. Has a mix of wooded and open air areas. Very popular so would recommend keep dogs on the lead.

Used to be empty fields but now trees everywhere hilly but there’s a path around and into the woods. Great place to take the dog. Parking £2.40 for 6 hours. Nice cafe and loos too
