We had a walk here on the 31/5/2020. There are quite a few paths to walk down and it was great to be out of the sun in the woods for the dogs on some of the paths. I would suggest to take a picnic as you could stay all day. The dogs had a play in a little stream too.

Lovely walk, plenty of options if you dont want to stick to the main trail. Dougie loved it!

Enjoyable walk with the dogs. Unable to let them off initially as far too many dogs. Very muddy/swamp like in places 🤣 it was fun! Thankful for the cafe being open on our return, needed a cold drink. Dogs enjoyed it.

You have to be careful of a stagnant pond when you go from where the cafe is heading towards Louth through the woods ,ours would be in it in a flash ,would keep her on a lead going passed it but otherwise it’s lovely especially in the spring /summer, that lay-by in season especially in summer is filled with motorbikes !
