We had a walk here on the 31/5/2020. There are quite a few paths to walk down and it was great to be out of the sun in the woods for the dogs on some of the paths. I would suggest to take a picnic as you could stay all day. The dogs had a play in a little stream too. -

Lovely walk, plenty of options if you dont want to stick to the main trail. Dougie loved it! -

Enjoyable walk with the dogs. Unable to let them off initially as far too many dogs. Very muddy/swamp like in places 🤣 it was fun! Thankful for the cafe being open on our return, needed a cold drink. Dogs enjoyed it. -

You have to be careful of a stagnant pond when you go from where the cafe is heading towards Louth through the woods ,ours would be in it in a flash ,would keep her on a lead going passed it but otherwise it’s lovely especially in the spring /summer, that lay-by in season especially in summer is filled with motorbikes !
