About this walk

There is parking at the car park (no charge, donations only), there's a lovely 10 minute walk down to Salhouse Broad itself, lined with ancient oak trees. The path splits part way down where you can either head straight for the Broad itself, or take the longer boardwalk, which skims the edge of the Broad. Both paths then take you to the mooring area which is closely followed by a natural beach area, great for dogs to have a dip (there is a restriction for dogs on leads in the peak season but only in peak hours) You can follow the Broad along another boardwalk along the edge of the Broad and you can return either along the same path or divert back through some woods.
There are dog poo bins on site and dogs are very welcome.
