A truly beautiful place for a dog walk. There are a few opened (heath) areas and a lot of woods. There are easy walks with plenty of benches and there are steep parts for the more adventurous pups and people. I highly recommend a very good, detailed map of the heath on Norwich City Council's website; please type: "Mousehold Heath Earth Heritage Trail" . Plenty of car park around the heath, all free.

Other car parks: there is one (the biggest car park) from Gilman Road (it's a quite short road) that leads to the heath. There is a car park at Zak's, opposite Zaks and one near "Pitch and Putt".
