3 years agoWhy haven't I taken Buddy and Daisy here yet?? Looks great for walkies and foraging
3 years agoReally good off lead walking.. Easy to read paths Highly recommended
a year agoNice walk through wooded area, lovely space for off lead running for our Lab, nearer 2 hours walk with small children!!!
10 months agoNew rules displayed at West Stow show that it is no longer a Dog Friendly Country Park, a great shame. Although the forests around are wonderful for dogs off lead. West Stow Country Park needs to be removed from this Website.
10 months agoWest Stow country park is on lead only and not good for dogs. If you go to the other side of the road into Kingswood and the west Stow Trail area you have lots of trails which are dog friendly. Hours of fun.
4 months agoJust been there after finding it on here today. Beautiful woodland walk with some open areas too. Sandy and fairly flat. It is a good 3 mile walk if you do the full circuit. Quite a bit is on hard packed forest roads but there are plenty of trails if you want to stay in the woods. As it is a Forestry Commission managed forest is laid out in blocks so should be easy to find your way back to the car (I did think I was lost at one point). If you head west on the main road afterwards towards West Stow Country park check out Fullers Mill Garden, it is fabulous with lovely tea rooms.
