Yarwell Mill and Nene Valley

There are quite a few jumping off points to walk the Nene Valley Way. We started at Yarwell Mill Country Park. But you can search Nene Valley walks for more ideas. From Yarwell you can park, although the car park is very small. Walk through the yard and immediately you will see the walking trail signs. The Mill area is nice, lots of water, boats and small cafe. Take the public way out towards Nassington. The walk branches off in different directions. Go to Nassington along the dismantled railway line. Or go over the bridge and south out towards Sibson and Elton. You might see skydivers from the airfield. You can also detour to the Neve Valley Railway line this way and Nassington Junction station. Watch the old Steam Trains or jump on with your dog! Look up NVR website for details.

These walks are about 1-3 miles. Mainly grass and farm tracks. Good country river walks. With several pubs on route and pretty stone villages.
