Just on the out skirts of North Petherton Near Bridgwater and Taunton. This is lovely walk, well known by the locals. Access off junction 24 on the M5 through North Petherton on the A38 turning right by the booze buster. At the end of the road, go straight across onto cliff road, follow the road up hill, and it is the first turning on the right after the national speed limit signs, follow this small lane to the end and there is a farm house and a small car park, parking is limited, and wheel chair access is unavailable. The walk is as long as you want it to be, after about a mile it splits off in two directions, one going up and the other going down, the path is flat until this split, there is a small stream at a low level to the path, and a few areas where dogs can run down and access the water, there is lots of wildlife here and regularly horse riders use the track, there is also some jumps for mountain bikes near the beginning of the path, wellies are recommended if it has been raining at all as it gets very muddy, is also a great bike ride or run with the dogs. all in all a good easy walk with the dogs, one I have been going to for years.

This is a lovely walk, just done it on a rainy day and we got lots of shelter from the trees, really pretty and easy to find - though the Booze Buster in the directions is gone and is now a McColls store! Thank you for posting it, we wouldn't have found it otherwise. -

Fantasic walk! We have been here twice now both times in horried weather but we love it as it's pretty covered by trees and our 3 dogs enjoy the mud! So many different ways to go and check out you can get lost for hours. There's lovely fresh water for the dogs to drink and play in and lots of mud in this weather so don't forget your wellies!! Very small parking bay and very hidden away but well worth hunting for it as both times only seen a few people and hours of just us and the dogs it feels you have the whole area to yourself. There's paths, woods, water, hills, dips, open land,views... What more could you want?? Can't wait for summer! -

We walked here today, a lovely walk but very very muddy so be prepared! Very limited parking but during the week I'm sure it's fine! Our dogs loved the walk we saw some deer along the way. There are a number of walks from this starting point depending on what you wish to achieve! We spent 90 minutes walking and we're all covered in mud by the time we got back to the car! I would like to revisit once it's dried up a bit! -

Brilliant walk, my two border collies absolutely loved 🥰 the area and enjoyed running up and down the hillsides, there were also a few area’s where they could stop and play in the water, cool off and have a drink. Would recommend this walk to anyone with or without a dog, it made my day finding this walk on the website. I am looking forward to trying more walks on this site that have been recommended and going on more adventures with my two border collies 🤩😊🙌💗 -
