This 5.5 mile circular walk, takes you down a quiet chalk dry valley south with extensive downland views. It returns along the ridge, following a stretch of the South Downs Way. Start and finish at the Firle Beacon car park grid reference TQ 467058. Do not put "Firle Beacon" into the satnav as it is likely to try and take you along farm tracks up to the beacon itself. Take the Firle village turning south from the A27 and continue along the road, past the village and up the hill to the car park.
